Fluent in Portuguese and skilled in building long-term customer partnerships? Step into a Senior International Account Manager Food role within a family-owned company, where you will drive growth and develop a key market.
At Zandbergen World’s Finest Meat, you will take full ownership and be responsible for managing and developing customers and markets in Portugal. You will work with clients in retail, industry and foodservice, identify commercial opportunities, and actively contribute to the further growth of our international business.
Your main responsibilities
▪️ Managing, developing, and expanding international accounts;
▪️ Identifying and following up on commercial opportunities in the market;
▪️ Building new customer relationships and strengthening existing partnerships at senior stakeholder level;
▪️ Advising customers on suitable product solutions;
▪️ Working closely with internal departments to ensure agreements and deliveries are handled efficiently;
▪️ Representing our company and brands at international trade fairs.

What do you bring?
You are commercially driven, proactive, and thrive in an international trading environment, with a strong affinity for food products. Building strong relationships comes naturally to you, and you easily navigate between different customers and stakeholders. You are energized by achieving results, driving growth, and working collaboratively.
You also bring:
▪️ Commercial experience within the food industry,
▫️ In the meat or protein business is a strong advantage;
▪️ Bachelor’s degree level or equivalent working and thinking level;
▪️ Excellent command of both Portuguese and English, spoken and written;
▪️ Availability for 32 to 40 hours per week
▪️ Affinity with international trade and food products;
▪️ Strong communication and relationship-building skills;
▪️ An independent, result-oriented, and proactive mindset;
▪️ Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis.
