Purpose and reason for the existence of the job

The Vestas NCE Offshore Service department is responsible for operations and maintenance of the wind turbines at windfarms located in Nort Central Europe. The department has an open and informal culture, where teamwork and good communication are the key to our effective operations. Responsibilities:

• As Service Manager, you will be working at site and reporting to the Area service manager
• You will be P&L responsible for your site and be fully responsible for the service delivery including people management and complex logistics (SOV, multiple CTVs, etc.) Guiding the site team to ensure that they deliver optimized operation of Customer assets encompassing Quality, HSE, production performance, asset security, operations and maintenance activities and employee development
• You will work closely with the Customer in collaboration with the Customer Manager

Qualifications

• Experience with leadership and people management
• Good business skills and a customer-focused, solution- and improvement-oriented mindset
• Financial insight and experience with full P&L responsibility, which includes knowledge of key figures and KPIs
• Fluency in English, both verbally and in writing

Competencies

• Good leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop others
• You manage issues diligently at your site, until a solution has been identified and implemented
• Great communication skills, combined with a commercial and strategic mindset and experience with change and conflict management
• Proficient stakeholder management skills and a curious attitude, always aiming to understand the need of our customer
• Structured and focused on the important details, while thriving in an innovative and fast-growing environment
• Good IT skills, and experienced with Office applications

Additional Information

This role will be based at Den Helder at the customers site. Candidate should preferably live within 45 minutes of the work location.
