The Role

As Strategic Business Development Manager – Additive Manufacturing & Casting, you’ll identify and develop strategic growth opportunities across the aerospace engine manufacturing ecosystem. Partnering with global technical, commercial, and operational teams, you’ll position Bodycote’s advanced post-processing technologies, including HIP, heat treatment, and surface technologies within additive manufacturing and investment casting production routes.

Who We’re Looking For

Key essentials:

• 10+ years’ experience within the Aerospace & Defense manufacturing or supplier ecosystem

• Experience engaging with aerospace OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers

• Exposure to additive manufacturing, investment casting, or advanced materials processing in aerospace applications

• Strong commercial and strategic mindset, with experience building business cases and developing long-term opportunities

• Ability to influence and collaborate across global, matrixed teams while building credibility with senior stakeholders

Location & Work Pattern

This role will be UK based with an expectation of travel.
