Responsibilities

Scope of Position:

The objective is to manage the “health” of a fleet of technical assets (utilities such as HVAC, water, electricity, etc.), prioritize investment plans (CAPEX/OPEX), identify risks (technical, safety, business), and ensure optimal performance across the asset lifecycle. Team info:
The role is part of a global organization supporting multiple sites (manufacturing, R&D, facilities). The hiring manager currently leads a team of 5 asset managers, each responsible for a specific domain, and is looking to complement the team with a Utilities expert. Tasks:
  • Analyze asset fleet condition through technical studies and data collection.
  • Identify risks (technical, business, safety) and define mitigation plans.
  • Build and prioritize investment strategies (CAPEX/OPEX).
  • Collaborate with stakeholders (business, engineering, PMO) to align budgets and priorities.
  • Act as single point of contact for asset-related initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement of asset management methodologies and governance.
  • Support decision-making by translating technical insights into financial/business impact.

Qualifications

Experience & Skills:

Must have :
  • Around 5–8 years of relevant experience expected, with openness to slightly more junior profiles if they demonstrate strong ability to bridge technical and financial aspects.
  • Strong technical background in Utilities / MEP (HVAC, water, electrical systems, etc.).
  • Experience in pharma/biologics industry (mandatory).
  • Ability to connect technical, financial (CAPEX/OPEX), and business perspectives.
  • Experience in asset lifecycle management and risk management.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills (ability to defend budgets, recommendations).
  • Fluency in French and English.
Nice to have :
  • Project management background (helpful for understanding downstream execution).
  • Exposure to automation concepts (PLC, HMI) without needing deep expertise.
  • Experience building business cases or linking asset strategy to performance (COGS, EBITDA, etc.).
🏡 Homeworking :
Hybrid model possible but flexibility needed : on-site presence decided week by week depending on needs.#LI-DN1
